The RD3 residual current relay offers protection against sinusoidal alternating currents and pulsating currents with a smooth DC residual current component of up to 6 mA to earth and monitoring functions in accordance with IEC/EN 60947-2: 2006, Annex M.
They require an external converter and can be used together with a suitable shutdown device in industrial systems and installations for protection against electric shock, fault protection and fire protection.
They can be used with all S200 circuit breakers and molded case circuit breakers of the Tmax series up to T5 in industrial applications.
RD3 residual current relays can display the status via two output contacts and an LED light bar (with RD3P).
