The R650 access point (AP) with the latest Wi-Fi 6 (802.11 ax) technology provides increased capacity, improved coverage and performance in dense environments. The R650 is our mid-range dual-band, dual-concurrent AP that supports six spatial streams (4x4: 4 at 5 GHz, 2x2: 2 at 2.4 GHz). The R650 supports peak data rates of up to 2974 Mbps and efficiently manages up to 512 client connections. Additionally, 2.5GbE Ethernet ensures that the backhaul is not a bottleneck to fully utilizing the available Wi-Fi capacity. What does Unleashed mean The Ruckus Unleashed system enables up to 128 Ruckus access points (in bridge mode) and 2048 clients to operate without a controller (ZoneDirector). One of the Unleashed Access Points acts as a controller and takes over all controlling tasks.
