The PTFE insulation tape 60 is an insulation tape with a PTFE film carrier. This flame-retardant adhesive tape is suitable for use on coils, cable harnesses and capacitors at high temperatures where breakdown and breaking strength are required. This tape is designed for 600 V and can withstand a temperature range of 0 to 180 °C.
The PTFE film 60 is not only characterized by extremely high temperature resistance, it also has excellent dielectric strength and extremely high elasticity. It can withstand a breakdown voltage of 9,500 volts and, with a temperature resistance of up to 180 °C, belongs to insulation class H. The adhesive tape is also flame-retardant according to UL 510 and the high-quality silicone adhesive is also extremely resistant to aging. Since the surface of the PTFE carrier has very low energy, no substances such as resin, glue or dirt stick to it. The 0.102 millimeter thick insulating tape is suitable for coils, capacitors and cable bundles that are exposed to high temperatures.
