The 3MT ScotchcastT Cast Resin Joint Kit of the 92-NBA series is designed for one to five-core, unshielded low-voltage plastic cables. It ensures electrical insulation and mechanical protection of cable joints. The SVHC-free, premium joint kit, tested according to EN 50393, can be used indoors and outdoors, underground or underwater. The transparent, one-piece potting shell can be folded up in an instant and closes with an automatic snap-in. Pre-formed, perforated foam seals are also used. This eliminates the previously time-consuming use of a saw and adhesive tape for a tight seal. A GMG system (closed mixing and pouring) is used when casting the 3MT ScotchcastT casting resin 40 included in the delivery. This means that contact with the casting resin during processing is practically impossible. The transparent mixing bag guarantees visual control of the mixing process. After use, the mixing bag with the remaining hardened casting resin can be disposed of as normal household waste. Disposal as hazardous waste is not necessary.
